Visit of Moscow government delegation to Mexico

On December 10-11, 2019 in the city of Mexico City the delegation of the Moscow Government held a number of business events with representatives of the authorities and business circles of the Mexican capital.

As part of the visit, the Moscow delegation held meetings with the leader of the Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City, Secretary of State of the Government of Mexico City Rosa Isela Rodríguez Velázquez and General Coordinator for International Relations of the Government of Mexico City Diana Alarcón González, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mexico Victor Coronelli, Director General for Global Economic Impulse of the Sub-Secretariat for Multilateral Relations and Human Rights Javier Jaleta Verduzco.

On 10 December 2019, the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow organized and hosted a conference on foreign economic and investment activities and international relations at the Chamber of Commerce of Mexico City.
In the course of the conference the Head of the Moscow Delegation, Minister of the Moscow City Government, Executive Officer of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow Sergey Cheremin presented the investment presentation of the Russian capital, during which he also noted that the Moscow authorities highly appreciate the cooperation with the colleagues from the capital of Mexico and are interested in its development.
On 11 December 2019 the Moscow delegation signed a new programme of cooperation with the Government of Mexico, which affects culture, economy, healthcare, sport and other spheres.
The head of the delegation noted that the work on the creation of the new program had been carried out with colleagues from Mexico for several months, and it is designed for three years. The document implies cooperation in the exchange of information, events and business missions.
The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Mexican Republic hosted an official reception of the Moscow Government, during which the guests were presented with the photo exhibition "Moscow Festival".

The operator of the events within the framework of the visit was the State Unitary Enterprise "Moscow Center for International Cooperation".
