The III Award for international cooperation and the development of foreign economic activity took place in St. Petersburg

The third ceremony of awarding the Prize for international cooperation and the development of foreign economic activity took place on June 5 within the framework of the official opening of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019. The founders of the Award are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Center for International Cooperation and the Kommersant Publishing House. The presentation of this prestigious award is held in conjunction with major international events, organized by the Roscongress Foundation. For the first time, the Prize was presented at the forum last year, and the second ceremony was held in the “Russian House” at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The awards are given to prominent figures, who made significant contribution to the foreign economic and international activities of the Russian Federation.
The laureates of the Prize were the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Federation Council K. Kosachev, the Director General of the Russian Export Center JSC A. Slepnev, the rector of MGIMO University A. Torkunov, the General Director of the International Medical Cluster Foundation, M. Yugai, the Head of Procter & Gamble in Eastern Europe and Central Asia S. Marinidis, the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Sergeev, the Chairman of the Board of the International Investment Bank N.Kosov, the President of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry E.Kidde.
The Minister of the Government of Moscow, the Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the City of Moscow S.Cheremin, the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation V. Dmitriev, the Managing Partner for CIS countries of Ernst&Young A. Ivlev, the Director General of the Moscow Center for International Cooperation N. Scherbakova, the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry M. Platonov, the First Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation D. Kartashov and the Head of the Economic Policy Department of the Kommersant Publishing House D. Butrin took part in the official ceremony as presenters. 

The most important purpose of the Award is not only to highlight significant projects of international cooperation and foreign economic activity, but also to encourage the leaders in foreign economic activities in their aspiration to show Russia as a country open to a fruitful and effective international partnership.
