Moscow took part in events to the Victory Day in Yerevan
Thematic military-patriotic events organized with the support of the Department for External Economic and International Relations(DVMS) of Moscow were held in Yerevan within the framework of the program for celebrating the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In the period from May 12 to May 14, in the capital of Armenia, the DVMS held a number of cultural events dedicated to the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On May 12, wreaths and flowers were laid at the “Mother Armenia” monument in Victory Park.
The venue of the central cultural events was the well-known House of Moscow in Yerevan. There was officially opened a photo exhibition “Do you want peace? Remember the war "dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition presents unique shots of the most heroic period in the history of the country.
In the cultural and business center held a solemn ceremony honoring veterans with the presentation of souvenirs. On the occasion of the celebration there was a gala concert and an official reception with the participation of veterans. The commemorative events in the House of Moscow in Yerevan were completed with a film screening of the film “The Indestructible” by director Konstantin Maximov. The film tells us about the selfless deed and strength of spirit of the crew members of the KV-1 tank, worthy of eternal memory.
